Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General appointed as first Auditor General of the Isle of Man

Stephen Warren, currently Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General, has been appointed as the first Auditor General of the Isle of Man.  

At the meeting of its Tynwald Court today (21 March 2023), Members approved the recommendation for his appointment.  Stephen will take up the position in May 2023.

Commenting on the appointment, C&AG Lynn Pamment said:

“I am delighted for Stephen on his appointment.

“He has provided the Jersey Audit Office with 10 years of loyal service and has an exceptional level of technical expertise, which I am sure he will use to good effect in establishing a new office in the Isle of Man. 

“We wish him all the very best in this future endeavours.”
